STILL "CHURCH PLANTING"?

"Church Planting" - for years describing the cutting edge of kingdom activity seems to come to its end in the near future.  It is not so much the effort  of multiplying vibrant faith communities that is under dispute as is the very terminology and its related concepts.

"Church planting"

• do we have a mandate for it at all? - ask the mission directors
• is SCP still a valid (and working) approach? - ask the DAWN directors
• isn't the very terminology reaffirming a corrupted concept of ekklesia? imply the Norwegians
• is it here to stay? - asks the Eurochurch Network
  

and if so - "Where is it happening? How so? And what do we expect it to look like in the future?"

This type of questions will be the subject of our conversation and prayer when we will meet at the upcoming combined DAWN / Eurochurch Conference in Switzerland. Innovative thinkers and practitioners will meet as friends at the feet of the ONE to discern His guidance for a time as this. Make sure you allow the Spirit to breathe you there if he would!
